CONCEPT - YOKAI 2025

Inspired by Japanese "yokai" culture, the collection incorporates a mysterious, bizarre, and surreal visual language into SUBU's classic winter slippers.

This series features limited-edition pieces crafted with striking patterns, plush materials, and combinations of different textures, creating a blend of the eerie and the beautiful.

From the visual matrix of the DOTS series to the strong presence of the VAMP suede version, YOKAI's concept is "once you wear it, you can't go back."

Combining winter comfort with a collectible design, this is SUBU's most talked-about project for 2025 .               

The black leopard print version uses deep black as the base, with the leopard print presented in either bright or dark patterns, giving the overall look a sense of stability and wild tension.

Thick padding and a partially enclosed heel allow your feet to move around comfortably in cold environments, while leopard print details add a high degree of recognizability to your winter look.

Maintenance methods                                               

Please hand wash with warm water and a mild detergent.                                               

Use a soft brush to gently remove dirt.                                           

After washing, please air dry thoroughly and avoid direct sunlight.                                               

If stored in an unclean or damp condition, it may cause mold or discoloration.                                               

Do not use a washing machine to clean.                                               

Please avoid using a dryer to prevent deformation of the EVA material in the soles.

MAINTENANCE                                         

Please wash by hand in lukewarm water with mild detergent.                   

Use a soft brush to clean the dirt off.                                         

Once cleaned, dry thoroughly, avoid direct sunlight.                     

Storing while dirty or moist might result in mold or discoloration. 

Do not wash in a washing machine.                                           

Please refrain from fro drying in dryer, as may deform the EVA layer of the sole.
